Hurricane Isaias: City of Northwest issues a State of Emergency

The City of Northwest has issued a State of Emergency in response to approaching Hurricane/Tropical storm Isaias. As of the 9:30 a.m. advisory the current track will bring greatest impacts Monday night into early Tuesday morning. Large limbs and some downed trees with scattered power outages are possible. Driving conditions can become hazardous with some road closures possible. In preparing, make sure you have adequate medication, water and food. The Mayor and Council encourage everyone to monitor the news for updates.
