Mayor Sheila Grady Sheila D. Grady has been a member of the Northwest City Council for eight years. As a retired educator, she transitioned into municipal government equipped with exceptional leadership skills and thirty-five plus years of service-oriented experience.

Councilwoman Grady serves as Administration Liaison, and Cape Fear Council of Government (COG) liaison. She also works with the emergency management, grant funding.
